D-Group Leader

The Holy Grail of serving opportunities in Student Ministry. D-Group Leaders spend dedicated time with students during Refuge (High School meets Sundays from 5-7 p.m.; Middle School meets Wednesdays from 6-7:45 p.m.). D-Group Leaders are in charge of helping students to grow in maturity through dedicated discipleship time in and out of church. This is the most important aspect of service in Student Ministry and is richly rewarding relationally and spiritually.

Sunday Morning Teacher

Assist every other month with Morning Blend, our Sunday morning program (9:45 or 11 a.m.). Morning Blend is a fun time of teaching, games and discussion. Sunday Morning Leaders help by preparing lessons and leading our students into a deeper understanding of God's Word.

Sunday Morning Support

Help greet people, serve donuts and have fun with students on Sunday mornings twice a month.

Refuge Support

Help Student Ministry staff on Sunday nights or Wednesday nights at Refuge. Help us create a fun atmosphere as a greeter, a tech support person, or by serving food.

This volunteer will use the church vehicles to help assist students from around the city that have difficulty in making it to Christ Church on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Volunteer to pick-up, drive home, or both.

SOS (Service Over Self) Adult Volunteer

A one-week commitment to serve as an adult volunteer at SOS, an urban ministry here in Memphis. One week of working on roofs, eating Jerry's Snow Cones and being the hands and feet of Jesus. SOS is normally mid-July.
