Summer Sermon Series: Interview with God
If you could ask god any question, what would it be?

That’s the focus of our six-week sermon series this summer. Let us know your questions by filling out a card at our #whatwouldyouask display in Holy Grounds. Then join us as our teaching pastors tackle your questions during the summer sermon series beginning Sunday, June 23. On Wednesday nights, movies addressing some of the topics will be showing at our East Ministry Center.

The modern English term “cult” usually refers to a social group defined by its unusual spiritual philosophical beliefs and its common interest in a particular object or goal. Join Shane Stanford as he carries out conversations on cults, the occult and the faith of humanism and explores what the Bible says about how we are to address and overcome all three.


Women’s Summer Series: Rejoicing Through Philippians
Thursdays, June 27 & July 11, 25 | 6 p.m. | Seabrook Hall

Stay in the Word this summer with food, friends and fellowship. We’re diving into the four chapters of Philippians over dinner with different speakers. Cost: $10 (includes dinner; must register at least five days prior to event)

SOS Adopt-a-Week: June 23-28
Don't let our students have all the fun at SOS! Volunteer to support students, volunteers and staff through various roles including laundry, meal serving, popsicle delivery and more!

Project Transformation Reading Weeks: July 15-18 & 22-25 | 9:45 a.m.-Noon | Centenary UMC
Serve with Project Transformation to combat the summer slide of literacy by reading 1:1 with a student.

East High Football Camp: August 1-3
For 15+ years, Christ Church has hosted the football team from East High School for a summer camp with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Join the team and either donate healthy snacks/drinks or serve as a small group leader.
