YUGO Mexico Family Trip: June 10-17
Many studies say that serving others is a significant way of developing faith in kids. Just imagine the impact if they serve alongside their parents. This year's Student Ministry Family Mission Trip gives you the opportunity to do just that.
We are going back to Ensenada, Mexico to work with YUGO to build homes. On this trip, your family will work alongside homeowners who have paid for their slab to build their new home. At the end of the week, your family will be able to hand the keys of the completed home to the homeowner. It's a great experience! Mark your calendars and plan to join us. (This is a 'Family Trip,' so families are expected to serve together.) | Learn more
VBS Teen Volunteers: June 19-22 | 9 a.m.-Noon
Service over self (sos): June 25-30
for current 6th-12th grade students | $420
Each summer our students serve in the inner city doing urban home repair—mostly roofing—for homeowners in Binghampton. It is a week where they learn a great deal about being the hands and feet of Christ, and we hope God uses it as a launching point for living a lifestyle of service. Don't miss it!
SOS student registration is full, but you can be added to our waiting list.
BigStuf: July 9-13 | Panama City, FL
for rising 7th grade-rising college freshmen
Filters. We use them every day. They change how we see people, each other and the world. One swipe can take a picture from good to great, pretty good to perfect, forgettable to profile picture status. What if the same is true of life? What if we all have filters for viewing each other, our futures and our God? And what if Jesus desires to change those filters? What if He had a revolution in store for us that started with simply how we see? BigStuf 2017 is an invitation to SEE different, BE different. Are you ready to join the movement this summer?
BigStuf registration is closed.
Youth Encounter Weekend: October 20-22
YEW is a weekend-long, on-site retreat that focuses on discipleship—and FUN! It is one of the cornerstone events of our calendar every year, and you will not want to miss it.
This winter spiritual retreat takes place at Timber Creek Camp in Pulaski, MS. Students spend four days surrounded by God’s creation, new and old friends and caring adult leaders, allowing them the opportunity to connect or reconnect with our Creator. This retreat is for all 7th-12th grade students.
The retreat includes teaching, worship, small groups, hiking, canoeing, a ropes course, games, meals and fellowship. This is an awesome opportunity for you to be recharged and refreshed in your faith!
>>Special memories are made at BreakThru, and this year was "out of the box." Read our blog post to hear how special this time really is for our students.
