Uganda Day 12

daily prayer guide

Day 12: Wednesday, August 7
The past several days, the team has traveled the world, and Christ Church, you have been right there with us. We have learned about different people and prayed our way around the globe. Learning and praying can change our hearts and make us sensitive to what God is doing around us, which often leads to action. Paul wrote in Thessalonians that it is God who gives us the power to accomplish the good things that our faith prompts us to do. If God is prompting you to action, keep praying, keep learning and begin looking for ways God may accomplish His purposes through you. Pray God will speak clearly to you about what “good things” your faith is prompting you to do. Pray you will respond with trust and anticipation of what He wants to accomplish through you. God has a special plan for each of us and wants to use each of us for great things.

“With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.” (2 Thessalonians 1:11)
