Uganda Day 13

daily prayer guide

Day 13: Thursday, August 8
Refugees might understand more than anyone that their hope and security comes from knowing that no matter where they live or what is happening around them, nothing can separate them from the love of God.

Pray for the team as they travel home. Pray for safety and protection. Guidance and courage to allow God to continue to use them once they arrive back in Memphis and their homes. Pray and thank God for refugees who heard the Gospel and heard of God’s love. Pray that God will continue to work long after the team has returned. May God take the spark and start a great reviving fire of hope and truth that spreads far and fast.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: ‘For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35-37)

Thank you for journeying with us and praying alongside us. You play a crucial part, and the team greatly appreciates you.
