Emotionally Healthy Spirituality

It’s impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. In this eight-week course led by Mike Fitzpatrick, people learn to slow down their lives to cultivate their own deep relationship with Jesus and stop living off the spirituality of others.


Grief Support Group
Wednesdays, Sept. 4-Dec. 4 | 5:30-7 p.m. | Dunnam 337

This 13-week support group is for those grieving the loss of a loved one and includes video seminar and group discussion. Workbooks are $15; pay by cash or check when you come to the meeting. Questions? Contact Leigh Anne Murray, (901) 261-2106.

The Confident Woman

Join LaShanta Rudd as she leads this study by Joyce Meyer. Explore the seven characteristics of a woman with confidence, which include a woman who knows she is loved, who refuses to live in fear and who does not live by comparisons.

Authentic Manhood: A Man and His Work
Wednesdays, Oct. 2-Nov. 6

Led by Kyle Rote Jr. and Stueart Hudsmith, this Bible study gives men a vision for manhood as modeled by Jesus in His time on earth. Two opportunities this fall: Wednesday mornings at 6:15 in Seabrook Hall and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 in Wilson/Ross 415. Childcare available for evening session.

Chancel Choir
Starts Sept. 4 | 7 p.m. | Choir Room

The Chancel Choir is a non-auditioned group of singers, which provides music leadership for the 11:00 Traditional Service in addition to special services including the annual singing of Handel’s Messiah and the Candlelight Christmas Eve Service.
