No, Christ Methodist will be closed on Christmas, and there will be no services.
After Christmas Eve, our next worship service will be on Sunday, December 28, at 11:00 AM for a special service.

4:00 PM: Family Service is a contemporary service featuring joyful Christmas favorites, a children’s special message, and brief teaching.
5:00 PM: Christmas Communion is a come-and-go event that will feature a brief liturgy and communion.
7:00 PM: Candlelight Service is a traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service featuring liturgy, Christmas hymns, prayerful reflection, and teaching.

Our Family Service is about 60 minutes. Our Candlelight Service will also be 60-75 minutes.

For our Christmas Eve services, most attendees dress in business casual or semi-formal, but please, come as you are and feel comfortable.

Traditionally, the Family and Candlelight Services are very well attended, leaving few empty seats, if any. However, we anticipate that all of our worship services will be full, and we encourage you to arrive early.

We encourage you to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the service to ensure you have a spot with your family and are seated when the service begins.

Christ Methodist has several parking lots on our campus; however, with our anticipated crowds, we expect those lots to fill up.
If you cannot find a spot on our campus, please park across Grove Park Road at the Laurelwood Shopping Center or across Poplar Avenue at Oak Court Mall.

Yes! We encourage families to attend together, especially the Family Service.

No nursery is offered during the Christmas Eve services.
