There will only be two services on Sunday, March 24 as we dedicate our recently renovated Sanctuary. (To hear details about the services, click “Watch video” link below.) We welcome children in both services, and they will be included with a children’s sermon from Senior Pastor Shane Stanford. (No Sunday school for children or adults.) Help fill the eggs
Empty Easter eggs are available for your family to take home, fill with candy or small trinkets and return to the church. Sunday, March 24 is the last day to pick up eggs to fill. Eggs are located in the Nursery/Pre-K check-in area and at worship locations throughout the church. Return filled eggs to those locations on Sundays, March 31 and April 7.

Guest Speaker: Steve Wiggins
Steve is a five-time Grammy award nominee with his band, Big Tent Revival, and has penned 10 #1 radio singles including “Choose Life,” “What Would Jesus Do?” and “Two Sets of Jones.’” Steve has served on the staffs of Willow Creek, South Barrington, IL; Harvest Christian Fellowship, Riverside, CA; and most recently, Bellevue Baptist Church, Memphis, TN.
He is the founder of Living Room Study and Groundworks Ministries, discipleship ministries focusing on biblical literacy. Having written a chapter-by-chapter devotional of the entire Bible, Steve is also the content provider for the Bible Challenge. Tickets are $20.

In 1930, William Faulkner purchased The Bailey Place, a primitive Greek revival house sitting on four acres of hardwood and cedar. Faulkner renamed it Rowan Oak after the rowan tree, a symbol of security and peace. It was the family home until his death in 1962. In 1972, daughter Jill sold it to the University of Mississippi as a place to learn about her father and his work. RSVP to Libby Shackelford.

Mexico Family Mission Trip: YUGO Ministries

For the past 10 years Christ Church has worked alongside local families to help them build their first home in a week. Whether you are handy with a hammer or paintbrush doesn’t matter, there is a place and a job for everyone. Part of the group will assist with daily VBS for the children.
Costa Rica Summer Family Mission Trip

Cost: $750 + airfare/person
Christ Church is privileged to partner with Amigos De La Fe (Friends of the Faith), a church in Costa Rica. Team members will come alongside Amigos De La Fe in ministry and discipleship. Whether new to international missions or if you have been before, this is a great individual and family opportunity to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus and encouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Uganda/Bidi Bidi Refugee Camp
July 25-August 8, 2019 | Registration Deadline: April 7
Cost: $3,000 (Includes airfare, food, transportation and accommodations)
Partnering with one of our local partners here in Memphis, Refugee Empowerment Program, this trip is a chance to minister to, serve alongside and empower South Sudanese refugees as they go back to the largest refugee camp in Africa. The Bidi Bidi refugee camp is located in Northern Uganda and is currently one of the fastest-growing refugee camps.
Service Over Self (SOS)

Each summer our students serve in the inner city doing urban home repair—mostly roofing—for homeowners in Binghampton. It is a week where they learn a great deal about being the hands and feet of Christ, and we hope God uses it as a launching point for living a lifestyle of service.
Memphis Cup of Nations

Memphis Cup of Nations seeks to seize the universal passion for soccer, connect the nations and build community. Sixteen teams representing 16 different nations will compete in a day-long soccer tournament to determine the best in Memphis and to celebrate, recognize and honor the refugee community.
