People of the Book: Knowing and Sharing God’s Word
Wednesdays thru February 20 | 6:10 p.m. | Seabrook Hall

Have you ever wanted to know the Bible better? What about knowing the basics of the Good News deeply by heart? Are you comfortable sharing your faith? This class will help you learn God’s Word and the basics of Christian theology in a powerful, practical way as to make it part of your daily life.

School of the Rock
Wednesdays thru April 24 | 6-7:30 p.m.
Children in JK-5th grade are invited to this free-to-the-public arts camp where they will use art, drama, technology, creative athletics and music to tell their story & their part in God's BIG story.

 

Middle School & High School Refuge
HS | Sundays | 4-6 p.m.
MS | Wednesdays | 6-7:45 p.m.
Fellowship and pizza followed by worship and teaching. Students then go into grade and gender-based D-Groups (small groups).

 

Men

Authentic Manhood
Wednesdays thru Feb. 20 | 6:15 a.m. or 6:15 p.m.
Led by Kyle Rote Jr. and Stueart Hudsmith, this Bible study gives men a vision for manhood as modeled by Jesus in His time on earth. Two opportunities this spring: Wednesday mornings at 6:15 in Seabrook Hall (coffee only) and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 in Wilson/Ross 415. Childcare available for evening session.

Cost: $10 at the door

Join us for a hearty breakfast and to hear Mike Weaver, Christ Church coordinator of safety & security, discuss SurThrival, overcoming adversity, hardship, illness or trauma—whether physical or emotional. A surthrivalist is someone who excels under the worst circumstances in life. They don’t just exist—they live fully. Mike will share tools God provides so you can live life to the fullest, even in dire circumstances. We will talk about the oldest and the latest tools and technology for surthriving the outdoors.

Born in 1890 at the corner of Main and Beale, the Grand Opera House, now known as the Orpheum, was the classiest theatre outside of New York City. Revitalized in 1977, 1984 and 2015, the Orpheum’s mission is to enhance the communities it serves by utilizing the performing arts to entertain, educate and enlighten while preserving the historic Orpheum Theatre itself and the Halloran Centre.

You will experience a night of comedy and laughter with one powerful go and do that couples can actually go and do.
