This position will provide administrative, logistical, and communication support for the Discipleship and Missions Departments of the church, maintaining ministry systems and supporting volunteers. This role will help these respective teams by organizing and supporting discipleship groups and Sunday School classes, mission trips, service initiatives, and missions events.

The Director of Communications leads and directs all churchwide communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and mission alignment across every platform. This role provides strategic direction for digital, print, and in-person communications so that Christ Methodist Church effectively informs, invites, equips, and shepherds both the congregation and the broader community.

A fellow serves for two years in full-time ministry, splitting their time between serving on staff at Christ Church Memphis and attending the extension campus of Asbury Theological Seminary, conveniently located on our campus. Fellows serve in a ministry that furthers their vocational aims while experiencing holistic exposure to multiple church ministries. They receive both a monthly stipend of $1,400 and a full scholarship to Asbury Seminary.
