This position will provide administrative, logistical, and communication support for the Discipleship and Missions Departments of the church, maintaining ministry systems and supporting volunteers. This role will help these respective teams by organizing and supporting discipleship groups and Sunday School classes, mission trips, service initiatives, and missions events.

Leads in creating a warm and inviting entry into the church during the week. Serves the church on weekdays by welcoming and managing incoming members and guests, taking phone calls, managing mail and deliveries and other duties as necessary during the week. Works to recruit and train volunteers to serve at the Welcome Desk throughout the week. Works with operations team for scheduling and database management

Leads and serves 6th through 12th grade students, with a focus on 9th-12th grade students, providing opportunities for students to grow a strong, healthy relationship with Jesus Christ.

A fellow serves for two years in full-time ministry, splitting their time between serving on staff at Christ Church Memphis and attending the extension campus of Asbury Theological Seminary, conveniently located on our campus. Fellows serve in a ministry that furthers their vocational aims while experiencing holistic exposure to multiple church ministries. They receive both a monthly stipend of $1,400 and a full scholarship to Asbury Seminary.
