From February 23-26, there is a Special General Conference. At that conference, decisions will be made that will bring clarity to a debate that has been going on in the United Methodist Church since 1972. Three plans will be presented. Last weekend 44 sixth grade students, sophomore student table leaders and adult leaders attended our annual Confirmation Retreat. The retreat is a time for our confirmands to deepen relationships with each other, their 10th grade leaders and God through worship and teaching. Students tackled questions of who the Holy Spirit is and what the Holy Spirit does. Sixth graders will complete their Confirmation classes soon in preparation for Confirmation Sunday on March 3.Continue Reading
