On Sunday, November 9, we will take a moment during all worship services to recognize the spiritual gifts God has given our church family. Take time to prayerfully consider your calling, complete a SHAPE card, and bring it with you to service.
You’ll find physical cards at the front desk that you can fill out and bring to service on Nov. 9!
What is S.H.A.P.E?
Spiritual Gifts
Based on 1 Corinthians 12-14, Romans 4, and Ephesians 4, God gives supernatural abilities not otherwise possible without His grace in His Body. God calls each person to use these gifts in order to glorify Him and serve others. You can take your free spiritual gifts test HERE.
Heart For Ministry
God gives each of us unique passions and burdens that reflect His own heart. They're the people, causes, or needs that move us deeply-and often where we most naturally serve with joy and compassion.
Abilities
God equips us with natural talents and learned skills to serve His purposes. Whether you lead with strategy or creativity, excel in building systems or relationships, your abilities are gifts meant to strengthen the Body.
Personality
God shapes us with a personality that colors how we think and relate to others. Bold, pensive, empathic, instinctive-every temperament reflects an aspect of God's image and contributes to the Body of Christ.
Experiences
God uses our life stories to shape how we see the world and serve others. Through what we've walked through, overcome, or learned, He equips us to bring comfort, wisdom, and hope to those walking similar paths.
