Growing Together in Prayer and Community: Ladies Night at Christ Methodist

Nearly 90 women gathered for Ladies Night at Christ Methodist Church to grow together in prayer, build friendships across generations, and encourage one another to deepen their relationships with Christ.

The evening brought together women from different generations and stages of life, including several who weren't previously connected through Sunday School or other discipleship groups. Through fellowship, shared experiences, and encouragement, new relationships began to take shape within our church family.

At the heart of the evening was a focus on growing in prayer. Four women shared personal wisdom and encouragement, reminding those gathered to depend on the Lord, turn to Scripture, and cultivate a consistent life of prayer. Their perspectives offered a meaningful picture of how faith can be nurtured and shared across generations.

At Christ Methodist Church, we believe that being an Abiding Believer means continually growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ, while being an Authentic Friend means intentionally cultivating meaningful Christian relationships. Ladies Night brought these two attributes together, creating space for women to strengthen their faith while finding encouragement and belonging in community.

The enthusiastic response to this gathering has also created momentum for continued growth in Women's Ministry, with opportunities ahead for deeper discipleship, connection, and fellowship.

We're grateful to the women who shared their wisdom, served behind the scenes, and helped make this evening a meaningful celebration of faith and community.
