Bidi Bidi 2025: Prayer Calendar
Join us in daily prayer for our Christ Methodist mission team serving in Bidi Bidi, Uganda, from July 19 to August 1, 2025.
Follow along with Scripture, lift up each team member by name, and intercede for their work, safety, and impact among refugees.
How to Use This Calendar:
Each day, set aside time to pray for our mission team in Bidi Bidi, Uganda. Begin by reading the Scripture provided to center your heart. Then, lift up the specific team member named for that day, asking God to bless their ministry, give them strength, and use them powerfully. Over these two weeks, every member of the team will be covered in focused, intentional prayer.

SATURDAY, JULY 19

Focus: Entire Team
Prayer: Pray for safety in travel, smooth transitions through airports and customs, and God’s protection as the team enters the mission field.
SUNDAY, JULY 20
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14
Focus: Kimberly – Team Leader, Special Needs Ministry
Prayer: Ask God to equip Kimberly with wisdom and clarity as she coaches refugee families to launch sustainable special needs ministries.
MONDAY, JULY 21
“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’” Psalm 122:1
Focus: Dave – Pastoral Coaching Lead
Prayer: Pray for Dave as he trains local pastors. Ask for open hearts, unity, and encouragement among church leaders in Bidi Bidi.
TUESDAY, JULY 22

Focus: Sam – Newborn & Maternal Care
Prayer: Lift up Sam as she supports mothers and newborn babies. Pray for nurturing presence, physical health, and compassion in every interaction.

Focus: Andi – Support for Special Needs Ministry
Prayer: Ask for strength and gentleness as Andi cares for children with disabilities during training sessions led by Kimberly.
THURSDAY, JULY 24

Focus: Emily – Women’s Bible Study Leader
Prayer: Pray for Emily as she leads Bible studies with women in the camp. Ask for deep connection, healing, and renewed faith among participants.
FRIDAY, JULY 25

Focus: Gladys – VBS & Women’s Discipleship Lead
Prayer: Lift up Gladys as she ministers to both women and children. Pray for joy, stamina, and spiritual fruit through her leadership.
SATURDAY, JULY 26
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” Zechariah 4:10
Focus: Kirk – Financial Literacy & Men’s Discipleship
Prayer: Ask God to bless Kirk’s teaching on savings and banking. Pray for transformation in the lives of men and families through financial empowerment.
SUNDAY, JULY 27

Focus: Robert – Boys’ Soccer Evangelism & Financial Training
Prayer: Pray for energy and creativity as Robert leads soccer outreach and assists with financial teaching. May the Gospel be clear in every conversation.
MONDAY, JULY 28
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Focus: Georganne – Girls’ Soccer Evangelism Lead
Prayer: Ask God to strengthen Georganne as she builds trust with girls through sports. Pray for Gospel seeds to take root through joy and mentorship.

Focus: GW – Construction & Special Needs Support
Prayer: Pray for strength and safety as GW works on building projects and supports special needs ministry with skill and compassion.

Focus: Ben & Wailes – Boys’ Soccer Evangelism
Prayer: Ask for teamwork, joy, and boldness as they connect with youth through soccer. Pray that many would come to know Jesus.
THURSDAY, JULY 31

Focus: Stephanie & Joyce – Support Staff
Prayer: Thank God for their behind-the-scenes service. Pray for energy, peace, and encouragement as they hold the team together through logistics and care.
